E’ un antico teatro storico, eret­to nel quadriennio 1832-35 su di­segno dell’architetto Giuseppe Se­gusini. Più volte restaurato, Tinterno è stato completamente rifatto nel biennio 1948-49 a cura dell’archi­tetto Emilio Bovio. Ha una capienza di 850 posti e viene soprattutto utilizzato come ci­nematografo.
