Built 1876 as a restaurant ballroom. 1892 renovations. 1899 addition of a Kleiner Saal hall. Variously used as a variety theatre and as a cinema. 1939-1943 partly converted into a factory. From 1949, the remaining cinema operated as Lichtspieltheater Lindenfels (closed 1987). Complex re-opened as a theatre and cinema in September 1994. Used for drama, dance and musical performances and as a cinema. (English)
