E’ il maggior teatro cittadino, eretto nel triennio 1886-88 dall’architetto Giuseppe Oliverio sull’area del vecchio teatro omonimo (architetto Cosimo Morelli) risalente al 1782. Completamente restaurato nel 1928, sa subito un nuovo generale restauro nel 1956. Adibito in prevalenza alle proiezioni cinematografiche, vi si tiene anche una breve stagione lirica carnevalesca, qualche concerto e qualche rappresentazione drammatica. Appartiene alla Delegazione del Teatro Coccia e ha una capienza di 1279 posti. (Italian)
