Built 1925 as Corkhill Hall, a recreation hall and community center of a town built by the Pacific Coast Borax Company. 1967 rented by Marta Becket and renamed Amargosa Opera House after the original name of the former mining town. Subsequently used by Marta Becket for dance and mime shows until 2012. 1968-1974 decorated with painted murals by Marta Becket. Now used for various shows, concerts and events. (English)
