Opened 1910 as Teatro Pietro Schedoni. 1926 renamed Teatro Dante in honour of the Italian poet, Dante Alighieri (1265-1321). Used as a theatre and as a cinema. Demolished in the late 1950s in favour of a restaurant. (English)
