Built 1892 by Emanuel Seidl. Painted curtain by Kunz Meyer-Waldegg and other painters of the München artists' society Allotria. Opened 24. Juni 1892 with Benno Rauchenegger's Jägerblut. Used by the resident amateur theatre company Terofals Bauerntheater [Terofal's Farmers' Theatre] founded by Konrad Dreher and Xaver Terofal that later also toured in Germany, Austria and in the United States (including a performance at the New York Metropolitan Opera House in 1895). Destroyed by fire in 1947. Subsequently rebuilt. Re-opened 1948. Closed 1958. Re-opened 21 July 1966. 1968 reconstruction of the painted curtain by Anton Babion to the original designs. 276 seats.
