Built by Platon Vasilyevich Shamansky. Opened 1907. 1100 seats. Since 1940, seat of the Samara State Philharmonic Orchestra. Demolished 1974 in favour of the new Filarmoniya building very close to the old site, which, from the outside, looks very similar to the Teatr Olimp. (English)
