E’ un bellissimo teatro baroc­co, opera dell’architetto Anto­nio Galli Bibiena che l’eresse nel 1771. Ha subito restauri nel 1877 e recentemente. Dal 1869 appartiene al Comu­ne che lo usa per stagioni liri­che, concerti e spettacoli di pro­sa. Fa parte dei teatri del cir­cuito ETI ed ha una capienza di 1200 posti. (Italian)
