Elegante tea­tro storico, eretto su progetto del­l’architetto Luigi Catalano fra il 1854 e il 1872. Da alcuni anni è la sede del Tea­tro Stabile dell’Aquila e fa parte dei teatri del circuito ETI. Ha una capienza di 600 posti circa. (Italian)

Severely damaged by the earthquake on 6 April 2009. 2015-2017 rebuilding. - The building contains two halls: the main theatre (600 seats) and a concert hall (Ridotto, 220 seats). Home to the Teatro Stabile dell'Abruzzo (TSA) drama company. (English)
