Ha subito diversi restauri, anche di recente, che non ne hanno in nulla modificato l’aspetto originario. Vi si tengono regolari stagioni li­riche, concertistiche e di prosa e fa parte dei teatri del circuito ETI. Appartiene al Comune ed ha una capienza di 917 posti. (Italian)
