E’ un antico teatro storico, eretto nel biennio 1818-19 dall’architetto Sante Baseggio. Linterno, completamente distrutto da un incendio nel 1902, fu ricostruito nel 1904 su disegno del- i’ingegner Daniele Donghi. E’ la sede di una breve stagione lirica annuale e di qualche spettacolo di prosa. (Italian)
