This open-air amphitheatre, built for the world exhibition of Brussels 1935, consists of terraces supported by walls planted with yellowish pines and seats 3,000 people. In the centre of this fan-shaped theatre, along an arm of a pond that has now been filled, there is a stage for 400 musicians. The original stage was floating on the pond. (English)
