Opened 1854 as Boston Theatre. In the 1860s renamed Academy of Music, later again Boston Theatre. Used for opera, ballet and drama performances as well as for concerts. 1914 converted into a cinema and vaudeville theatre. Closed 4 Oct 1925. Demolished 1926 in favour ot the B. F. Keith Memorial Theatre. (English)
