Concert hall, built 1982-1986 by Peter Busmann und Godfrid Haberer (acoustics consultant: Heinz Cramer) for the city of Köln, as a part of the Museum Ludwig/Philharmonie complex. Opened 14 September 1986 with Mahler's 8th Symphony and Walter Haupt's Klangwolke. Home to the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln and the RSO Köln. 2200 seats. (English)
