Further fires in 1863, 1868 and 1927 with subsequent rebuilding. 1942 damaged by bombs. Rebuilt in 1949. 2002 restorations. 1500 seats. (English)

Appartiene ad una società pri­vata ed ha una capienza di 2000 posti circa.E’ il teatro più ampio di cui dispone oggi la città; il teatro dove fanno tappa le maggiori compagnie di rivista e di prosa e di cui si servono anche il Tea­tro Stabile di Torino per i suoi spettacoli più grandiosi e l’Ente Autonomo Teatro Regio per ma­nifestazioni popolari (Italian)
