Vasto elegante teatro, celebre per le sue stagioni liriche e concerti­stiche. Fu eretto su disegno dell’archi­tetto Giambattista Basile fra il 1875 e il 1897. E’ la sede dell’omo­nimo Ente Autonomo che vi or­ganizza regolari stagioni musicali. Appartiene al Comune ed ha una capienza di 3.000 posti circa. (Italian)
