Cinema, built by Alziro Bergonzo within the Galleria Manzoni, as a follower to the former Teatro Manzoni (destroyed in 1943). Opened 20 Oct 1950 as Teatro di via Manzoni, soon later known as Teatro Manzoni (street and theatre both named in honour of the Italian writer, Alessandro Manzoni, 1785-1873). Cinema closed 2006. Ca. 2010 re-opened as a live theatre. (English)
