Opened 20 Oct 1950 as Teatro di via Manzoni, soon later known as Teatro Manzoni (street and theatre both named in honour of the Italian writer, Alessandro Manzoni, 1785-1873). Cinema closed 2006. Ca. 2010 re-opened as a live theatre. (English)
