Linnebach, after the Friedrich-Theater (previously: Hoftheater) had been destroyed by a fire in 1922. Re-opened 1 Feb 1923 as Friedrich-Theater. Used for opera, drama, and ballet performances by the resident companies until the opening of the Dessauer Theater (today: Anhaltisches Theater) in 1938. Destroyed by bombs on 7 Mar 1945; remains demolished in 1956. (English)
