Header

Label*

• The name of the collection, as used today
• Names are only translated if the collection itself uses their translated name, if not copy the original name in your language.

Description

• You can give a short (max 30 words) description of the term.
• This will be translated

• This field is used to facilitate searching.
• When a collection is known under a nickname, or if it was called differently in earlier time periods, you can add an alias

Importance (P20)

• Defines how important this collection is for the history of technical theatre, it is used to select items for large visualisations.

Context (P47)

• Can be used to give more information about the collection, the importance, etc.
• Text length is limited, if needed add a second value.
• Language is mandatory (fill the language of the text.)
• If the information is retrieved from an existing source, add a qualifier source (P63) or source URL (P64)
• Context can also be used as a qualifier to give detail about a specific entry in a property.

• A date that is significant for the collection, and is not captured in the standard set of date properties available.
• For example the acquirement of an important collection
• Needs a qualifier timeline label (this is shown on the timeline and in lists to make the date visible.)
• Describe the event in a context qualifier

Relations

Founded by (P54)

• Persons (or organisations or businesses) that founded the collection.

Significant person (P56)

• Refers to a person that was significant for the collection.
• Describe the significance in a context (P47) qualifier.

Member of (P46)

• Refers to an organisation or business the item is member of.

Is part of (P138)

• Collections are often part of a larger organisation or business. This property can be used to note these relations.
• Add start date (P38) and end date (P39 as qualifiers if apropriate

• Refers to other collection that are part of this one.

Tags (P22)

Media

Images

Images refer to pictures representing the collection (for example a logo), not the artifacts kept.

Wikicommons image (P2)

A picture of this item stored in the Wiki respository (commons.wikimedia.org)

• You can link by copying the name of the file the Wiki repository or from Wikipedia.
