December 1952 renamed Kinoteatr Riga. 2006-2010 reconstruction and renovations. 2011 re-renamed Splendid Palace. Currently three screens with a total of 863 seats (including the former Kinoteatris Spartaks next door). Main hall also used for concerts and live events. (English)
