Named in honour of Queen Alexandra (1844-1925). 1905 renamed Palace Theatre of Varieties. 1909 renamed Alexandra Theatre. Closed Oct 1950. Demolished in the early 1960s in favour of a housing block (Alexandra Court). (English)
