Destroyed by a fire on 13 November 1919. 1919-1924 rebuilding by Ebrard, Castel, and Raymond in Art Nouveau style, preserving only the façade and the portico. 2137 seats. Re-opened 4 Dec 1924 with Ernest Reyer's Sigurd. 1972 renovations. Today 1786 seats. (English)
