Closed 1971. 1971-1973 major rebuilding, demolishing the original auditorium. 1973 renamed Lederer Theater Center and re-opened as a live theatre with two new theatre halls: Chace Theater (ca. 500 seats) and Dowling Theater (ca. 300 seats).
