Named in honour of the Russian writer, Ivan Sergeyevich Turgeniev (1818-1883). Since 1981 used as a youth theatre (Teatr Yunovo Zritelya). Later renamed Orlovsky gosudarstvenny teatr dlya detey i molodozhi 'Svobodnoye prostranstvo' (Oryol State Theater for Children and Youth Free Space). (English)
