No heritage theatre machinery? Le château fut la propriété de la Maison d Estampes de 1451 à 1747, puis du prince de Talleyrand. À la demande de Napoléon, il fit construire un théâtre, inauguré le 30 mars 1810, pour distraire les princes d’Espagne en résidence forcée à Valençay. On y a donné de nombreux spectacles. Dans ce théâtre unique en Val de Loire, les décors et toiles de fond ont aussi été conservés. (English)
