Vasto elegante teatro, celebre per le sue stagioni liriche e concertistiche. Fu eretto su disegno dell’architetto Giambattista Basile fra il 1875 e il 1897. E’ la sede dell’omonimo Ente Autonomo che vi organizza regolari stagioni musicali. Appartiene al Comune ed ha una capienza di 3.000 posti circa. (Italian)
