E’ un antico teatro storico, eretto nel quadriennio 1832-35 su disegno dell’architetto Giuseppe Segusini. Più volte restaurato, Tinterno è stato completamente rifatto nel biennio 1948-49 a cura dell’architetto Emilio Bovio. Ha una capienza di 850 posti e viene soprattutto utilizzato come cinematografo.
