Fredrikshalds Theatre is the only completely preserved Baroque theatre in Norway. The exterior, interior and the slanted stage are a unique gem in the realm of theater history. Approximately 150 of the original stage sets and backdrops from 1838 - 1916 have also been preserved.Today the stage is very popular, used for performances and concerts by visiting groups and the local arts community.
